Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS)

John Marshall students exemplify the culture of ROAR: Respect Others, Act Kindly, Responsibility First.

PBIS is an evidence based approach for establishing behavior supports and interventions to create a culture where all students achieve academic, social and emotional success. It is not a scripted program or a packaged curriculum. It is a schoolwide system of support that is proactive in defining, teaching, and supporting appropriate student behavior ( Everyone on our staff works together to create a positive culture for our students. For more information on PBIS, visit PBIS FAQ.
